DRN.. AC Motors

SEW-EURODRIVE DRN.. AC motors are the IE3 branch of the modular DR.. platform. They cover 0.09 to 375 kW in 2, 4, 6 and 8-pole versions for continuous duty. The same motor runs on its own or pairs directly with a gear unit.

Abtaz supplies DRN.. motors for conveyors, pumps and fans, mixers, hoists and general machinery. Send us the nameplate designation or the duty data, and we will confirm a suitable frame size and mounting.

    DRN.. configurations

    The IE3 line of SEW's modular DR.. motor platform, in 2, 4, 6 and 8-pole versions.

    DRN.. is one efficiency line of a modular platform rather than a family with its own sub-series: SEW builds the same platform as DR2S.. in IE1, DRE.. in IE2, DRN.. in IE3 and DRU.. in IE4. Inside the line the choices are configuration options - pole count, mounting and flange arrangement, a BE spring-applied brake for holding duty, and forced cooling or encoder feedback where needed. The same motor is supplied on its own or combined directly with an R, F, K, S or W gear unit.
