ABAC oil-injected rotary screw compressors cover 2 to 75 kW in five series. SPINN runs from 2.2 to 22 kW, including the portable D2.2. CROSS covers 2 to 10 kW on variable speed. FORMULA spans 5.5 to 26 kW belt-driven, FORMULA M takes the gear-driven frames from 30 to 75 kW, and GENESIS packages the compressor with a refrigerant dryer, line filter, automatic drain and receiver as a single air workstation. Each series is offered base-mounted, tank-mounted or tank-mounted with an integrated dryer, at pressures up to 13 bar.
Screw compressors are built for continuous supply and will run at up to a 100 per cent duty cycle. Variable speed models match motor speed to real-time demand, which ABAC rates at average energy savings of up to 35 per cent and a reduction of up to 25 per cent in total lifecycle cost. SPINN is the compact end of the screw range and is quiet enough to install next to the point of use, which saves on installation and pipework. It is built in 2.2 to 7.5, 5.5 to 15 and 15 to 22 kW frames in both fixed and variable speed, plus the portable D2.2 for sites where the compressor has to move.
Variable speed from 2 to 10 kW, in the CROSS 500 and CROSS 900 frames.
CROSS is the entry point to ABAC's variable speed screw compressors, built around compactness and quiet running. CROSS 500 covers 2 to 4 kW and CROSS 900 covers 5 to 10 kW, both tank mounted, with the drive matching motor speed to demand instead of loading and unloading.
Belt-driven 5.5 to 26 kW, fixed and variable speed, in many pressure and voltage variants.
FORMULA is the general industrial frame, available in a wide spread of power sizes, voltages, pressure variants and efficiencies for service, assembly and plant air. Fixed speed covers 5.5 to 22 kW and variable speed covers 7.5 to 26 kW, where ABAC rates the average energy saving at up to 35 per cent.
Gear-driven 30 to 75 kW, fixed and variable speed, for the heaviest continuous duty.
FORMULA M replaces the belt with a gear drive on the larger frames, which removes belt losses and belt maintenance. It covers 30 to 45 and 55 to 75 kW in both fixed and variable speed, including a 13 bar variant, and is the top of ABAC's screw range.
5.5 to 26 kW air workstation with dryer, filter, drain and receiver in one enclosure.
GENESIS packages the compressor with a refrigerant dryer, a 0.1 micron line filter, an automatic drain and a 270 or 500 litre receiver inside a single enclosure. It arrives ready to connect, which takes the separate dryer and receiver, and the pipework between them, out of the installation.
