ABB builds IEC low voltage motors on three lines. General performance motors are the cast iron stock programme up to 355 kW. Process performance motors are configured to the installation and reach efficiency class IE5. SynRM synchronous reluctance motors use a magnet-free rotor to reach IE5 and IE6 with induction-motor servicing.
