Driving a fastener with compressed air seats it in one stroke, flush and without the splitting or surface damage that hammering causes. ABAC supplies this as a combination tool: the Combi Nailer G-301 takes both brad nails and staples from the same magazine, so furniture assembly, flooring and modelling work are covered without carrying two tools.

Air consumption is low and intermittent, so a small compressor will run it, but the receiver has to be big enough that pressure does not drop between shots, which is what causes a fastener to sit proud.
