SEW supplies MOVITRAC advanced as a single standard inverter rather than as named sub-series, so the selection is a rating and a set of options. It runs synchronous and asynchronous motors with or without an encoder, and also LSPM and linear motors. Functional safety is integrated rather than added on, with STO as standard and scalable safety above it. Communication covers PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP and POWERLINK, and MOVIKIT software modules supply the application functions.
